spicy desi chicken macaroni

This is exactly how I like to eat my macaroni when I don’t wish to work with many ingredients and I want to cook easily! This macaroni is in Indian style, tossed with chicken, fresh vegetables and egg. Pretty nutritious, isn’t it? Honestly, it’s a dish which will satisfy your taste buds and same time will give you a proper nutritious lunch or dinner.

Yeah, I know you will say ‘hey, Macaroni and Pasta both are surely not so Indian’ and will give me a doubtful look. But trust me that you will never be disappointed if you will give that little Indian twist to any of your dishes.
The recipe of this so called spicy desi chicken macaroni is easy and will be made with such ingredients, which you can find at your kitchen any time. So surely it will be a time saver too. 😀

Spicy desi chicken macaroni with the goodness of chicken, egg and vegetables and with a desi Indian twist

Ingredients
  • 1 packet Macaroni
  • half bowl fresh chicken cubes
  • 1 medium sized capsicum, chopped
  • 1 big onion, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 medium sized potato, cut in small cubes
  • 1 medium sized tomato, chopped
  • 3-4 garlic cloves, very finely chopped
  • 3-4 green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • salt according to taste
  • any refined oil to cook
Instructions
  1. Take a fry pan and heat oil.Half fry the potato cubes in it after marinating with salt.keep it aside.
  2. Take egg.Break it in a bowl, mix 1 green chilly, onion,salt into it and make an omelette with it.
  3. Cut in into small pieces.Keep it aside.Take a saucepan.Boil the macaroni in the water properly.
  4. Drain away the excess boiled water.Wash the boiled macaroni under cold running water.
  5. Now take a fresh pan.Heat oil.Add chopped garlic cloves and onion into it.Fry till it gets golden.
  6. Add green chillies, chopped capsicum, chopped tomato into it and keep fry till they get a bit soft.
  7. Add chicken cubes after marinating with salt and turmeric powder.Fry for 5 minutes.
  8. Add red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and ginger paste and saute for 5 minutes.
  9. Add boiled macaroni, omelette, potato cubes into it.add salt.Stir occasionally for 10-15 mints.
  10. Your hot spicy desi style chicken macaroni is ready.serve it hot.
