We Indians are pasta lovers. In fact, there is a deep food connection between India and Italy and most of the foodie Indians love to drool on Italian dishes all the time.
I am definitely not Italian by any means but guys trust me that my soul is half Italian for sure. I am going to share the recipe of chicken pasta today which is my 1st pasta recipe in this blog( be sure of more to come:D )
This pasta recipe is easy and surely not complicated.You can cook it and have it very often.This pasta contains juicy chicken chunks,sweet corns and capsicum.I have added roasted or grilled oregano flavored tomato sauce into it which makes it further yummy.Lastly some shredded Parmesan cheese which adds few extra points to the dish!
- 2 ripe tomatoes
- 7-8 garlic cloves,chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2-3 tsp olive oil
- salt according to taste
- 1 packet pasta
- half bowl boneless chicken cubes
- 1 medium sized capsicum,chopped
- 1 medium sized onion,chopped
- 3-4 green chillies,chopped
- 3-4 tsp sweet corns
- ½ tsp ginger paste
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp parsley
- salt according to taste
- olive oil to cook
- Take a fry pan and heat olive oil.Add chopped garlic cloves and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add chopped tomatoes and fry a bit.Add salt and oregano and cook in low to medium heat.
- Cook till the tomatoes are messy and soft totally.Take a blender,blend the mixture.keep aside.
- Take a big saucepan and boil the raw pasta till it gets soft.Drain the water.
- Add 1 tsp oil into it so that the boiled pasta does not get sticky.
- Take a pan/kadai.Heat some oil.Add onions into it and fry till it gets golden.
- Add chopped capsicum,green chillies,sweet corns and ginger paste and saute for 5 minutes.
- Add chicken chunks and saute for 5 more minutes.Add salt and the pasta into it.
- Add paprika and all other herbs and cook it till 10-15 minutes.
- Take it on a serving dish.Pour cooked tomato sauce,add some shredded Parmesan cheese.
- Serve it hot.
